Pulman’s The Happy Apple is a hilarious satire on
the world of advertising. It tells the story of
three young men with their own advertising agency.
Things are not going well for the firm until the
management team realize their young secretary Nancy
is the perfect media type: average. Using her to
their best advantage, the company begins to flourish
until Nancy finds culture in the form of Mr
Kenilworth! Jeff proved himself more than able to
portray an executive at the cutting edge in his role
as Arthur Spender. The play opened at the Belgrade
Theatre, Coventry on the 24th November
1970 for a three week run. |
